حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَصُمِ السَّبْتَ إِلَّا فَرِيضَةً وَلَوْ لَمْ تَجِدْ إِلَّا لَحَا شَجَرٍ فَأَفْطِرْ عَلَيْهِ»

✧ On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ, he said: “Do not fast on Saturday except for an obligatory fast, and if you find nothing but the bark of a tree, then break your fast with it.”
