✧ On the Day of Judgement, Allah has prepared punishment and anger for those who steal the wealth of a Muslim, or falsely swear on them with a false oath.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ ثنا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ
أَنَّ الرُّبَيِّعَ بِنْتَ النَّضْرِ عَمَّتَهُ لَطَمَتْ جَارِيَةً وَكَسَرَتْ سِنَّهَا فَعَرَضُوا عَلَيْهِمُ الْأَرْشَ فَأَبَوْا فَطَلَبُوا الْعَفْوَ فَأَبَوْا فَأَتَوُا النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَأَمَرَهُمْ بِالْقِصَاصِ فَجَاءَ أَخُوهَا أَنَسُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَتُكْسَرُ سِنُّ الرُّبَيِّعِ؟ لَا وَالَّذِي بَعَثَكَ بِالْحَقِّ لَا تُكْسَرُ سِنُّهَا فَقَالَ «يَا أَنَسُ كِتَابُ اللهِ الْقِصَاصُ فَعَفَا الْقَوْمُ» فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ مِنْ عِبَادِ اللهِ مَنْ لَوْ أَقْسَمَ عَلَى اللهِ لَأَبَرَّهُ»

✧ His paternal aunt, al-Rubayyiʿ bt. al-Nadr, slapped a girl and broke her tooth. They offered them compensation, but they refused; they sought pardon, but they refused. So they came to the Prophet ﷺ, and he ordered them to exact retaliation. Her brother Anas b. al-Nadr came and said, "O Messenger of Allah, will the tooth of al-Rubayyiʿ be broken? No, by the One who sent you with the truth, her tooth shall not be broken." He said, "O Anas, the Book of Allah prescribes retaliation." The people then pardoned. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Among Allah's servants are those who, if they swore by Allah, He would fulfill their oath."
