حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ السَّمَيْدَعِ الْأَنْطَاكِيُّ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ النَّصِيبِيُّ ثنا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ نُمَيْرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْقِينِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ يُحَدِّثُ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّ مَرْيَمَ سَأَلَتْ رَبَّهَا لَحْمًا لَا دَمَ فِيهِ فَأَطْعَمَهَا الْجَرَادَ فَقَالَتْ اللهُمَّ أَحْيِهِ بِغَيْرِ رَضَاعٍ وَتَابِعْ بَيْنَهُ بِغَيْرِ شِبَاعٍ

✧ From the Messenger of God ﷺ: Mary asked her Lord for meat without blood, and He fed her locusts. She said, “O God, give him life without nursing and make him grow without satiation.”
