حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ الْغَزِّيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ الْعَسْقَلَانِيُّ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ ثنا مَرْزُوقُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحِمْصِيُّ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ ؓ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَيُّمَا نَاشِئٍ نَشَأَ فِي طَلَبِ الْعِلْمِ وَالْعِبَادَةِ حَتَّى يُكْبُرَ أَعْطَاهُ اللهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ثَوَابَ اثْنَيْنِ وَسَبْعِينَ صِدِّيقًا»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Any young person who grows up in seeking knowledge and worship until he becomes old, Allah will grant him on the Day of Resurrection the reward of seventy-two veracious ones (siddiqun)."
