حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْخَيَّاطُ ثنا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ زَبْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيِّ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «حَوْضِي كَمَا بَيْنَ عَدْنَ وَعُمَانَ فِيهِ الْأَكَاوِيبُ عَدَدُ نُجُومِ السَّمَاءِ مَنْ شَرِبَ مِنْهُ لَمْ يَظْمَأْ بَعْدَهُ أَبَدًا وَإِنَّ مِمَّنْ يَرِدُ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أُمَّتِي الشَّعِثَةُ رُءوسُهُمِ الدَّنِسَةُ ثِيَابُهُمْ لَا يَنْكِحُونَ الْمُتَنَعِّمَاتِ وَلَا يَحْضُرُونَ السُّدَدَ يَعْنِي أَبْوَابَ السُّلْطَانِ الَّذِينَ يُعْطُونَ كُلَّ الَّذِي عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا يُعْطَوْنَ كُلَّ الَّذِي لَهُمْ»

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, who said: “My cistern is as wide as the distance between Aden and Oman. In it are pitchers as numerous as the stars of the sky. Whoever drinks from it will never thirst again. Among those who will come to it from my community are those with disheveled heads and dirty clothes, who do not marry the soft-living women and do not attend the gates, meaning the gates of the authorities – those who give everything that is due from them but are not given everything that is due to them.”
