حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُعَلَّى الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ ضَمْضَمَ بْنِ زُرْعَةَ عَنْ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ وكَثِيرِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ وعَمْرِو بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ وَالْمِقْدَادِ بْنِ مَعَدِي كَرِبَ وأَبِي أُمَامَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ الْإِمَامَ إِذَا ابْتَغَى الرِّيبَةَ فِي النَّاسِ أَفْسَدَهُمْ»

✧ About the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, he said, "Indeed, when a leader seeks personal gain from the people, he corrupts them."
