حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ وأَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَنْبَرٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ قَالَا ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ مُوسَى الْمُرَائِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي مَيْمُونُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ قُدَامَةَ قَالَ

هَاجَرَ أَبِي صَفْوَانُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَهُوَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَبَايَعَهُ عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ فَمَدَّ إِلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَدَهُ فَمَسَحَ عَلَيْهَا فَقَالَ لَهُ صَفْوَانُ إِنِّي أُحِبُّكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ»

✧ My father Safwan migrated to the Prophet ﷺ while he was in Madinah and pledged allegiance to him upon Islam. The Prophet ﷺ extended his hand to him and wiped over it. Safwan said to him, “I love you, O Messenger of Allah.” The Prophet ﷺ said to him, “A person is with the one he loves.”
