حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الَفَسَوِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ صَيْفِيِّ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ وَعَمِّهِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ صَيْفِيٍّ عَنْ صَيْفِيِّ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ عَنْ صُهَيْبٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ أَصْدَقَ امْرَأَةً صَدَاقًا وَهُوَ مُجْمِعٌ أَنْ لَا يُوفِيَهَا إِيَّاهُ لَقِيَ اللهَ ﷻ وَهُوَ زَانٍ وَمَنِ ادَّانَ دَيْنًا وَهُوَ مُجْمِعٌ أَنْ لَا يُوَفِيَهُ لَقِيَ اللهَ وَهُوَ سَارِقٌ»

Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said, "Whoever gives a woman a dowry while resolving not to fulfill it to her will meet God ﷻ as an adulterer, and whoever takes on a debt while resolving not to repay it will meet God as a thief."
