حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ عَنْ وَبَرِ بْنِ أَبِي دُلَيْلَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الشَّرِيدِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَيُّ الْوَاجِدِ يُحِلُّ عِرْضَهُ وَعُقُوبَتَهُ»

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Abū Muslim al-Kashhī
  2. Abū ʿĀṣim
  3. And Bar b. Abū Dulaylah
  4. Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh b. Maymūn
  5. ʿAmr b. al-Sharīd from his father

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said, "Delay by a wealthy person makes his honor and punishment permissible."
