حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُعَلَّى الدِّمَشْقِيُّ وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ قَالَا ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ثنا رَاشِدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ثنا يَعْلَى بْنُ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

إِنِّي لَمَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي بَيْتِ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ فَقَالَ «انْظُرُوا هَلْ فِيكُمْ مِنْ غَيْرِكُمْ؟» فَقَالُوا لَا فَقَالَ «أَحَفِ الْبَابَ» فَأَغْلَقَ الْبَابَ ثُمَّ قَالَ ارْفَعُوا أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَقُولُوا لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ فَرَفَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَرَفَعْنَا أَيْدِيَنَا ثُمَّ قَالَ «ضَعُوا أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَأَبْشِرُوا فَقَدْ غُفِرَ لَكُمْ إِنِّي بُعِثْتُ بِهَا وَبِهَا أُمِرْتُ وَعَلَيْهَا أَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ»

✧ I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the house of a man from his Companions. He said: “Check whether there is any stranger among you.” They said: “No.” He said: “Close the door.” So he closed the door, then said: “Raise your hands and say: There is no god but Allah.” So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his hands and we raised our hands. Then he said: “Put down your hands and rejoice, for you have been forgiven. I was sent with it, and with it I was commanded, and upon it I will enter Paradise.”
