al-Mu'jam al-Kabir (al-Tabarani) 716

✧ On the Day of Judgement, Allah has prepared punishment and anger for those who steal the wealth of a Muslim, or falsely swear on them with a false oath.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْقَزَّازُ الْبَصْرِيُّ ثنا هَانِي بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَيُّوبَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هِلَالٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ

آخِرُ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مَوْتًا بِالْكُوفَةِ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي أَوْفَى وَبِالْبَصْرَةِ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Muḥammad b. Yaḥyá al-Qazzāz al-Baṣrī
  2. Hānī b. Yaḥyá b. Ayyūb
  3. Abū Hilāl
  4. Qatādah

✧ The last of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ to die in Kufa was Abdullah b. Abi Awfa, and in Basra Anas b. Malik.
