حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِرْقٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ الضَّحَّاكِ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ رَاشِدِ بْنِ دَاوُدَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ غَسَّلَ وَاغْتَسَلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَغَدَا وَابْتَكَرَ ثُمَّ جَلَسَ قَرِيبًا مِنَ الْإِمَامِ فَاسْتَمَعَ وَأَنْصَتَ كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ خَطَاهَا عَمَلَ سَنَةٍ صِيَامَهَا وَقِيَامَهَا»

✧ On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ, he said, “Whoever performs the full bath and bathes on Friday, then goes early and arrives before the imam, then sits close to the imam and listens attentively, for every step he takes he will have the reward of a year’s fasting and night prayer.”
