al-Mu'jam al-Kabir (al-Tabarani) 713

✧ On the Day of Judgement, Allah has prepared punishment and anger for those who steal the wealth of a Muslim, or falsely swear on them with a false oath.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شَيْبَةَ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ثنا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الثَّقَفِيُّ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ «خَدَمْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَنَا ابْنُ ثَمَانِ سِنِينَ» قَالَ يَزِيدُ «دُلَّنِي عَلَى هَذَا الشَّيْخِ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ»

Translation

✧ I heard Anas b. Malik say, "I served the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when I was eight years old." Yazid said, "This shaykh Hammad b. Salamah directed me to this."
