وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ قَالَ
«إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَانَا مَرَّةً بِاللَّيْلِ وَنَحْنُ عَلَى حُفْرَةٍ نَازِلُونَ أَنْ نَأْكُلَ لَحْمَ حِمَارِ الْأَهْلِيِّ وَأَمَرَنَا بِلَحْمٍ مَعَنَا فَأَلْقَيْنَاهُ»
Translation

- Samurah b. Jundub
✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ forbade us one night, while we were encamped at a pit, from eating the meat of domestic donkeys, and he ordered us to use the meat we had with us, so we threw it away.
