حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ ثنا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا قُمْتُمْ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَلَا تَسْبِقُوا قَارِئَكُمْ فِي الرُّكُوعِ وَالسُّجُودِ وَالْقِيَامِ وَلَكِنْ لِيَسْبِقَكُمْ تُدْرِكُونَ مَا سُبِقْتُمْ بِهِ فِي ذَلِكَ إِذَا كَانَ هُوَ يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ فِي الرُّكُوعِ وَالسُّجُودِ وَالْقِيَامِ قَبْلَكُمْ فَتُدْرِكُوا مَا فَاتَكُمْ بِهِ حِينَئِذٍ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “When you stand for prayer, do not race your reciter in bowing, prostrating, and standing. Rather, let him precede you so that you may catch up with what he has preceded you in, if he raises his head in bowing, prostration, and standing before you, then you may make up what you missed thereby.”
