حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ
«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ ضَرَبَ مَثَلَ الْمُهَجِّرِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ كَالنَّاحِرِ بَدَنَةً وَكَذَابِحِ الْبَقَرَةِ وَكَذَابِحِ الشَّاةِ وَكَذَابِحِ الطَّيْرِ حَتَّى انْتَهَى إِلَى الْعُصْفُورَةِ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ struck the example of the one who comes early on Friday as being like the one who sacrifices a camel, and like the one who sacrifices a cow, and like the one who sacrifices a sheep, and like the one who sacrifices a bird, until he reached the sparrow.
