✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “The likeness of one who flees from death is like a fox pursued by the earth for a debt. He kept running until, when he became exhausted and distressed, he entered his burrow. The earth said to him, ‘O fox, my debt?’ So he came out with a scurrying motion, and he remained like that until his neck was severed and he died.”
