حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمَعْمَرِيُّ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ الْمَعْنِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا أَتَى أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى مَاشِيَةٍ فَإِنْ رَأَى فِيهَا صَاحِبَهُ فَلْيَسْتَأْذِنْهُ فَإِنْ أَذِنَ لَهُ فَلْيَحْلِبْ وَلْيَشْرَبْ وَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ فِيهَا فَلْيُصَوِّتْ ثَلَاثًا فَإِنْ جَاءَ فَلْيَسْتَأْذِنْهُ وَإِلَّا فَلْيَحْلِبْ وَلْيَشْرَبْ وَلَا يَحْمِلْ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When one of you comes upon livestock, if he sees its owner there, let him ask his permission. If he gives him permission, let him milk and drink. If the owner is not there, let him call out three times. If someone comes, let him ask his permission; otherwise, let him milk and drink, but not carry [any away]."
