حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْبَاقِي الْمِصِّيصِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ لُوَيْنٌ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا مَحْذُورَةَ كَيْفَ كُنْتَ تُؤَذِّنُ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ؟ أَيُّ شَيْءٍ كُنْتَ تَجْعَلُ آخِرَ أَذَانِكَ؟ قَالَ كُنْتُ «أُثَنِّي الْأَذَانَ وَأُثَنِّي الْإِقَامَةَ وَأَجْعَلُ آخِرَ أذَانِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ»

✧ I asked Abu Mahdhura: How did you give the call to prayer for the Prophet ﷺ? What did you make the end of your call to prayer? He said: I used to say the phrases of the call to prayer twice and the phrases of the iqamah twice, and I made the end of my call to prayer: there is no deity except Allah.
