حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يُوسُفَ الْعُقَيْلِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا حَاتِمُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ النَّمَرِيُّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ الضَّالُّ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لَمَّا حَجَّ قَامَ إِلَيْهِ سُرَاقَةُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ افْعَلْ بِنَا فِعْلَ قَوْمٍ كَأَنَّمَا وُلِدُوا الْيَوْمَ فَلَمَّا أَتَوُا الْبَيْتَ أَمَرَهُمْ فَطَافُوا بِالْبَيْتِ وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ ثُمَّ قَامَ فِي أَعْلَى الْوَادِي فَخَطَبَهُمْ فَقَالَ «دَخَلَتِ الْعُمْرَةُ فِي الْحَجِّ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ»

✧ When the Messenger of God ﷺ performed the Hajj, Suraqah b. Malik stood up to him and said: O Messenger of God, do for us what you would do for people as if they were born today. When they came to the House, he commanded them, and they circumambulated the House and went between al-Safa and al-Marwah. Then he stood in the upper part of the valley and addressed them, saying: "The 'Umrah has entered into the Hajj until the Day of Resurrection."
