حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي الطَّاهِرِ بْنِ السَّرْحِ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَزِيزٍ الْأَيْلِيُّ ثنا سَلَامَةُ بْنُ رَوْحٍ عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ حَدَّثَنِي الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سَبْرَةَ الْجُهَنِيُّ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ
أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ «اسْتَمْتَعْتُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بِامْرَأَةٍ مِنْ بَنِي عَامِرٍ بِبُرْدَيْنِ أَحْمَرَيْنِ ثُمَّ نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ مُتْعَةِ النِّسَاءِ»

✧ He informed him. He said: 'I engaged in mut'ah marriage with a woman from Banu Amir during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for two red cloaks. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited us from mut'ah with women.'
