حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا مِنْجَابُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ
دَخَلَ عَلِيٌّ عَلَى فَاطِمَةَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ فَقَالَ خُذِي هَذَا السَّيْفَ غَيْرَ ذَمِيمٍ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «لَئِنْ كُنْتَ أَحْسَنْتَ الْقِتَالَ لَقَدْ أَحْسَنَهُ سَهْلُ بْنُ حُنَيْفٍ وَأَبُو دُجَانَةَ سِمَاكُ بْنُ خَرَشَةَ»

✧ ʿAlī entered upon Fāṭimah on the day of Uḥud and said, “Take this sword, not blameworthy.” The Prophet ﷺ said, “If you fought well, then Sahl b. Ḥunayf and Abū Dujānah Simāk b. Kharashah also fought well.”
