حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو شُعَيْبٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثنا جَدِّي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي شُعَيْبٍ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ أَعْيَنَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ صُرَدَ قَالَ
اسْتَبَّ رَجُلَانِ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَغَضِبَ أَحَدُهُمَا غَضَبًا شَدِيدًا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنِّي لَأَعْلَمُ كَلِمَةً لَوْ قَالَهَا لَذَهَبَ عَنْهُ الَّذِي يَجِدُ لَوْ قَالَ أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ لَذَهَبَ عَنْهُ الَّذِي يَجِدُ

✧ Two men reviled each other in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ, and one of them became intensely angry. The Messenger of God ﷺ said, “I know a word which, if he said it, what he feels would leave him: if he said, ‘I seek refuge in God from Satan,’ what he feels would leave him.”
