حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْقَزَّازُ
ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ثنا حَاتِمٌ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بَعَثَ مُنَادِيًا يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ يُنَادِي «مَنْ كَانَ لَمْ يَصُمْ فَلْيُتِمَّ بَقِيَّةَ يَوْمِهِ وَمَنْ صَامَ فَلْيُتِمَّ صَوْمَهُ»

✧ Al-Qa'nabi narrated to us: Hatim narrated to us from Yazid b. Abi 'Ubayd from Salamah that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent a crier on the day of 'Ashura' announcing: "Whoever has not yet fasted should complete the rest of his day, and whoever has fasted should complete his fast."
