حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ الْفَرَّاءُ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْلَى الْأَسْلَمِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ وَالرَّبِيعِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ إِيَاسِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

بَارَزَ عَامِرُ بْنُ الْأَكْوَعِ رَجُلًا فَضَرَبَهُ فَقَتَلَهُ وَأَصَابَ السَّيْفُ رِجْلَ عَامِرٍ فَأَنْشَأَ يَقُولُ قَتَلْتُ نَفْسِي فَمَاتَ فَذُكِرَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «لَهُ أَجْرَانِ»

✧ Amir b. al-Akwa fought a duel with a man, struck him and killed him, but the sword struck Amir's leg. He began to say: "I have killed myself," and he died. This was mentioned to the Prophet ﷺ, and he said: "He will have two rewards."
