حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُجَاهِدٍ أَبُو مُجَاهِدٍ الْكَابُلِيُّ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ الرَّبَذِيِّ عَنْ إِيَاسِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

«أَهْدَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الْبُدْنِ عَامَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ جَمَلًا كَانَ يُخْتَ أَبِي جَهْلٍ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ فِي رَأْسَهِ بُرَّةٌ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ» قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ «حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْهُ قَدِيمًا ثُمَّ تَرَكَهُ بَعْدُ»

Translation

  3. Mūsá b. ʿUbaydah al-Rabadhī
  4. Iyās b. Salamah from his father

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ offered among the sacrificial camels in the year of Hudaybiyyah a camel that had belonged to Abu Jahl at the Battle of Badr, with a silver ring in its nose." Abdullah said: "My father narrated it from him long ago, then later abandoned it."
