حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ ثنا النَّضْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ إِيَاسِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

عُدْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ رَجُلًا مَوْعُوكًا فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا رَأَيْتُ أَشَدَّ حَرًّا مِنْهُ؟ قَالَ «أَلَا أُخْبِرُكَ بِأَشَدَّ حَرًّا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ هَذَيْنِكَ الرَّجُلَيْنِ الرَّاكِبَيْنِ الْمُقْبِلَيْنِ» لِرَجُلَيْنِ حِينَئِذٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ

Translation

Chain of narrators

  5. Iyās b. Salamah from his father

✧ We visited with the Messenger of God ﷺ a man who was feverish. I said, “O Messenger of God, I have never seen anything hotter than him.” He said, “Shall I not tell you of something hotter on the Day of Resurrection? Those two men, the two riders coming forward,” referring to two men from his companions at that time.
