حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ حَدَّثَنِي عِمْرَانُ بْنُ أَبِي أَنَسٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ

اخْتَلَفَ رَجُلَانِ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الَّذِي أُسِّسَ عَلَى التَّقْوَى فَقَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا هُوَ مَسْجِدُ الْمَدِينَةِ وَقَالَ الْآخَرُ هُوَ مَسْجِدُ قُبَاءَ فَأَتَوُا النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «هُوَ مَسْجِدِي هَذَا»

  6. Sahl b. Saʿd

✧ Two men differed during the time of the Messenger of God ﷺ about the mosque founded on piety. One said it was the mosque of Madinah, and the other said it was the mosque of Quba. They came to the Prophet ﷺ, and he said, “It is this mosque of mine.”
