حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ وَعَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ قَالَا ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا طَلْقُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ بْنُ حَفْصٍ ثنا أَبُو حَازِمٍ ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ «أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَاهُ فَأَقَرَّ عِنْدَهُ أَنَّهُ زَنَى بِامْرَأَةٍ سَمَّاهَا فَبَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى الْمَرْأَةِ فَسَأَلَهَا عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَأَنْكَرَتْ أَنْ تَكُونَ زَنَتْ فَجَلَدَهُ الْحَدَّ وَتَرَكَهَا»

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ: 'A man came to him and confessed in his presence that he had committed adultery with a woman whom he named. The Messenger of God ﷺ sent for the woman and asked her about that, but she denied having committed adultery, so he flogged him the prescribed punishment and left her.'
