حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الرَّمَادِيُّ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مَرَّ بِشَاةٍ مَيِّتَةٍ فَقَالَ «مَا تَرَوْنَ هَوَانَ هَذِهِ عَلَى أَهْلِهَا؟» قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ شَاةٌ مَيِّتَةٌ قَالَ «فَوَاللهِ لَلدُّنْيَا أَهْوَنُ عَلَى اللهِ مِنْ هَذِهِ عَلَى أَهْلِهَا»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ passed by a dead sheep and said: “What do you think of the worthlessness of this to its owners?” They said: “O Messenger of Allah, it is a dead sheep.” He said: “By Allah, the world is more worthless to Allah than this is to its owners.”
