حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ ثنا أَبُو مُصْعَبٍ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ ثنا أَبُو حَازِمٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ
اسْتَأْذَنَ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فِي الْهِجْرَةِ فَقَالَ لَهُ «يَا عَمِّ أَقِمْ مَكَانَكَ الَّذِي أَنْتَ فِيهِ فَإِنَّ اللهَ يَخْتِمُ بِكَ الْهِجْرَةَ كَمَا خَتَمَ بِيَ النُّبُوَّةَ»

✧ Al-Abbas b. Abd al-Muttalib asked the Prophet ﷺ permission to emigrate. He said to him: "O uncle, remain in your place where you are, for God will seal emigration with you as He sealed prophethood with me."
