✧ In the prohibition of private ownership of red land

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ الْفَزَارِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي سَلِيطٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَبِي سَلِيطٍ وَكَانَ بَدْرِيًّا قَالَ

«لَقَدْ أَتَانَا نَهْيُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ أَكْلِ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ وَإِنَّ الْقُدُورَ لَتَفُورُ بِهَا فَكَفَأْنَاهَا عَلَى وُجُوهِهَا»

✧ The prohibition of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ against eating the flesh of donkeys came to us while the cooking pots were boiling with them, so we overturned them.
