حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ ثنا أَبُو غَسَّانَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ سَهْلٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ فِيمَا يَرَى النَّاسُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ وَإِنَّهُ لَيَعْمَلُ فِيمَا يَرَى النَّاسُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ وَإِنَّهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وإِنَّمَا الْأَعْمَالُ بِالْخَوَاتِيمِ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “A man may perform, in what people see, the deeds of the people of Paradise, while he is among the people of the Fire; and a man may perform, in what people see, the deeds of the people of the Fire, while he is among the people of Paradise. Indeed, deeds are judged by their endings.”
