حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُعَلَّى الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنِّي قَدْ زَنَيْتُ بِفُلَانَةَ سَمَّاهَا فَبَعَثَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِلَى الْمَرْأَةِ فَسَأَلَهَا فَأَنْكَرَتْ فَرَجَمَهُ وَتَرَكَهَا

✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: "I have committed adultery with so-and-so," naming her. The Prophet ﷺ sent for the woman and questioned her, but she denied it. So he stoned the man and left her.
