حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنِي حَازِمُ بْنُ تَمَامٍ عَنْ عَبَّاسِ بْنِ سَهْلٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ثُمَّ السَّاعِدِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَأَنْ أُصَلِّيَ الصُّبْحَ ثُمَّ أَجْلِسَ مَجْلِسِي فَأَذْكُرَ اللهَ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ شَدٍّ عَلَى جِيَادِ الْخَيْلِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ» هَكَذَا قَالَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَيَّاشٌ وإِنَّمَا هُوَ عَبَّاسٌ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said, “That I pray the dawn prayer, then sit in my place remembering God until the sun rises, is dearer to me than charging upon swift horses in the path of God.” This is how al-Dabari said: Ayyash, but he is only Abbas.
