حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْخَلَّالُ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْمُهَيْمِنِ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ
أَنَّهُ «حَمَلَ دَرَجَةً مِنْ دَرَجِ الْمِنْبَرِ مِنَ الْغَابَةِ حَتَّى وَضَعَهَا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَأَنَّ عُودَ الْمِنْبَرِ مِنْ أَثَلٍ»
Translation
Chain of narrators
- Aḥmad b. ʿAmr al-Khallāl
- Yaʿqūb b. Ḥumayd
- ʿAbd al-Muhaymin b. ʿAbbās from his father from his grandfather
✧ That he carried one of the steps of the pulpit from the forest until he placed it in the mosque, and that the wood of the pulpit was from tamarisk trees.
