حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الصَّائِغُ الْمَكِّيُّ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ثنا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ

اشْتَكَى قَوْمٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُمْ سَكَنُوا دَارًا وَهُمْ عَدَدٌ فَفَنَوْا قَالَ «فَهَلَّا تَرَكْتُمُوهَا وَهِيَ ذَمِيمَةٌ»

✧ A people complained to the Prophet ﷺ that they had dwelt in a house, and they were numerous, and they perished. He said: 'Why did you not leave it, for it is blameworthy?'
