حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْبَاعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ قَالَ

«تُوُفِّيَ أُسَيْدُ بْنُ حُضَيْرٍ وَيُكَنَّى أَبَا يَحْيَى سَنَةَ عِشْرِينَ وَحَمَلَهُ عُمَرُ ؓ بَيْنَ عَمُودَيِ السَّرِيرِ حَتَّى وَضَعَهُ بِالْبَقِيعِ وَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ»

Translation

✧ "Usayd b. Hudayr died, whose kunyah was Abu Yahya, in the year twenty, and 'Umar ؓ carried him between the two posts of the bier until he placed him in al-Baqi' and prayed over him."
