al-Mu'jam al-Kabir (al-Tabarani) 5388

✧ Saad b. Ubadah al-Ansari, then al-Khazraji, a follower from Badr and Uhud, a captain, known as Abu Thabit, he stayed in Sham and passed away there.

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَا ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ فَايِدٍ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَا مِنْ أَمِيرِ عَشْرَةٍ إِلَّا يُؤْتَى بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مَغْلُولًا لَا يَفُكُّهُ مِنْ وَثَاقِهِ إِلَّا الْعَدْلُ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said, “There is no commander of ten but that he will be brought on the Day of Resurrection in chains, and nothing will release him from his bonds except justice.”
