حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ أُسَامَةَ اللَّيْثِيُّ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ ؓ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِسَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ يَوْمَ مَاتَ وَهُوَ يُدْفَنُ «لَهَذَا الْعَبْدُ الصَّالِحُ الَّذِي تَحَرَّكَ لَهُ عَرْشُ الرَّحْمَنِ وَفُتِحَتْ لَهُ أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ وَشُدِّدَ عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ فَرَّجَ اللهُ عَنْهُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said about Sa'd b. Mu'adh on the day he died, as he was being buried: “This is the righteous servant for whom the Throne of the Most Merciful shook, and for whom the gates of heaven were opened. He was squeezed, then Allah relieved him.”
