حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيلٍ الْعَنَزِيُّ ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ الرَّبَذِيِّ أَخْبَرَنِي أَيُّوبُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ قَالَ
كُنْتُ أَنَا وَصَاحِبٌ لِي يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ فِي الْمُتْعَةِ نُمَاكِسُ امْرَأَةً فِي الْأَجَلِ وتَمَاكَسْنَا فَأَتَانَا آتٍ فَأَخْبَرَنَا «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ حَرَّمَ نِكَاحَ الْمُتْعَةِ وَحَرَّمَ أَكْلَ كُلِّ ذِي نَابٍ مِنَ السِّبَاعِ وَالْحُمُرِ الْإِنْسِيَّةِ»

✧ I and a companion of mine were engaged in temporary marriage on the day of Khaybar, bargaining with a woman over the term, and we haggled. Then someone came to us and informed us that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had forbidden temporary marriage and forbidden eating every fanged beast of prey and domestic donkeys.
