حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الرَّقِّيُّ ثنا قَبِيصَةُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي لَبِيدٍ عَنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حَنْطَبٍ عَنْ خَلَّادِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ جَاءَنِي جِبْرِيلُ فَقَالَ لِي يَا مُحَمَّدُ مُرْ أَصْحَابَكَ فَلْيَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَهُمْ بِالتَّلْبِيَةِ فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ شِعَارِ الْحَجِّ

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “Jibrīl came to me and said to me: ‘O Muḥammad, command your companions to raise their voices with the talbiya, for it is among the emblems of the ḥajj.’”
