حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا ضِرَارُ بْنُ صُرَدٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْبَغَوِيُّ قَالَا ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَا ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ

عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ وَزَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ قَالَا كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ غَدِيرِ خُمٍّ وَنَحْنُ نَرْفَعُ غُصْنَ الشَّجَرَةِ عَنْ رَأْسِهِ فَقَالَ «إِنَّ الصَّدَقَةَ لَا تَحِلُّ لِي وَلَا لِأَهْلِ بَيْتِي لَعَنَ اللهُ مَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ وَلَعَنَ اللهُ مَنْ تَوَلَّى غَيْرَ مَوَالِيهِ الْوَلَدُ لِصَاحِبِ الْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ لَيْسَ لِوَارِثٍ وَصِيَّةٌ»

✧ On the authority of al-Bara' and Zayd b. Arqam, they said: We were with the Messenger of God ﷺ on the day of Ghadir Khumm, while we were lifting the branch of a tree from over his head. He said, 'Charity is not lawful for me or for my household. God has cursed whoever claims descent from other than his father, and God has cursed whoever takes as allies other than his patrons. The child belongs to the owner of the bed, and the fornicator gets the stone. There is no bequest for an heir.'
