حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ ثنا شُرَحْبِيلُ أَبُو سَعْدٍ

أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ الْأَسْوَاقَ فَاصْطَادَ بِهَا نَهْسًا يَعْنِي طَائِرًا فَقَالَ زَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ خَلِّ سَبِيلَهُ لَا أُمَّ لَكَ أَمَا عَلِمْتَ «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ حَرَّمَ صَيْدَ طَيْرِ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْهَا»

✧ That he entered the markets and hunted in them a nahs, meaning a bird. Zayd b. Thabit said: “Let it go, may you have no mother! Do you not know that the Prophet ﷺ made haram hunting the birds of what is between its two lava tracts?”
