حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَائِلَةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ ثنا النُّعْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ السَّلَامِ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ خَارِجَةَ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْمَدِينَةَ وَهُمْ يَتَبَايَعُونَ الثِّمَارَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَطِيبَ فَسَمِعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَغَطًا وَصَوْتًا عَالِيًا مِنَ النَّاسِ فَقَالَ «مَا هَذَا؟» فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ هَؤُلَاءِ قَوْمٌ تَبَايَعُوا الثِّمَارَ فِي النَّخْلِ ثُمَّ ذَكَرُوا أَنَّهُ أَصَابَهَا بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ الْفَسَادُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «فَلَا تَبَايَعُوا إِذَنْ حَتَّى تَطِيبَ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived in the city while they were trading fruits before they ripened. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard noise and loud voices from the people, so he asked, "What is this?" They replied, "O Messenger of Allah, these are people who are trading fruits in the palm trees and then they mention that they have encountered corruption afterward." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "So do not conduct transactions until they ripen."
