حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ

ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ يُوسُفَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ «أَنَّهُ وَجَدَ غِلْمَانًا قَدْ أَلْجَئُوا ثَعْلَبًا إِلَى زَاوِيَةٍ فَطَرَدَهُمْ عَنْهُ» وَقَالَ مَالِكٌ لَا أَعْلَمُ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي حَرَمِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يُصْنَعُ هَذَا

Translation

✧ Al-Qa'nabi narrated to us from Malik, from Yunus b. Yusuf, from 'Ata' b. Yasar, from Zayd b. Thabit al-Ansari, "that he found some boys who had cornered a fox, so he drove them away from it." And Malik said: "I do not know but that he said: 'In the sanctuary of the Messenger of God ﷺ this is done.'"
