حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى السَّاجِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا سَالِمُ بْنُ نُوحٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ

«تَسَحَّرْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَمَا قُمْنَا حَتَّى صَلَّى الْغَدَاةَ» قُلْتُ فَمَا قَدْرُ ذَلِكَ؟ قَالَ قَدْرُ مَا يَقْرَأُ الْإِنْسَانُ خَمْسِينَ آيَةً

✧ “We took suḥūr with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and we did not get up until he had prayed the morning prayer.” I said, “What was the extent of that?” He said, “The amount that a person recites fifty verses.”
