حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ وَيُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي وَأَبُو خَلِيفَةَ قَالُوا ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ هِشَامٍ الدَّسْتُوَائِيِّ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ

«تَسَحَّرْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ثُمَّ خَرَجْنَا إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ» قُلْتُ كَمْ كَانَ بَيْنَ الْأَذَانِ وَالْإِقَامَةِ وَالسَّحُورِ قَالَ قَدْرُ خَمْسِينَ آيَةً

✧ “We took suḥūr with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then we went out to the prayer.” I said, “How much time was there between the adhān, the iqāmah, and the suḥūr?” He said, “The amount of fifty verses.”
