حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ الْحِمَّانِيُّ ثنا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ رُكَانَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ يَزِيدَ

أَنَّهُ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ ألْبَتَّةَ فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ لَهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ «مَا أَرَدْتَ بِهَا؟» قَالَ وَاحِدَةً قَالَ «اللهِ مَا أَرَدْتَ بِهَا إِلَّا وَاحِدَةً؟» قَالَ اللهِ مَا أَرَدْتُ بِهَا إِلَّا وَاحِدَةً فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «هِي وَاحِدَةٌ»

✧ He divorced his wife irrevocably, then came to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned it to him. He said to him, “What did you intend by it?” He said, “One.” He said, “By Allah, did you intend by it only one?” He said, “By Allah, I intended by it only one.” The Prophet ﷺ said to him, “It is one.”
