حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ خَالِدِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ الرَّقِّيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ غَزِيَّةَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ رَافِعِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أبِي يَقُولُ إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ قَالَ

لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ كَيْفَ أَهْلُ بَدْرٍ فِيكُمْ؟ قَالَ «هُمْ أَفَاضِلُنَا» قَالَ جِبْرِيلُ وَمَنْ شَهِدَ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ بَدْرًا فَهُمْ أَفَاضِلُنَا

✧ To the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: “How are the people of Badr regarded among you?” He said, “They are the best of us.” Jibril said, “And those of the angels who witnessed Badr, they are the best of us.”
